Mongo did what he needed to do today. Fifty miles on the SCT at an 18.2 avg pace. I did intervals along the way, including out of the saddle sprints, and at least twenty miles in the 130-140 "fat burning", HR zone. I actually felt pretty good.
Mongo is going to ride the Hammerfest course on Saturday morning and another forty miles on Sunday. This will give me approximately 120 miles of varied training this week. I should be good to go for Monday night.
